Peugeot 3008 2024

By 2025, Peugeot will have the widest range of electric cars of any European mainstream carmaker. It is already replacing its bestseller with an all-new fastback SUV. The new Peugeot 3008 2024 is an essential part of the brand’s electric future. In fact, it uses mainly electric motors to power it.

The outgoing second-generation 3008 was a huge hit for Peugeot. The SUV, literally brimming with style, was bought by over 1,320,000 customers in 130 countries over seven years. The third generation, which has just been introduced, has a lot to build on and it is clear at first glance that it is not afraid of the challenge.

What Peugeot 3008 2024 reviews agree on

  • Amazing design and interior
  • Fantastic range
  • Advanced technology features
  • Roomy
  • Pretty expensive

Dynamic and balanced design with new colour options

The new 3008 is instantly recognisable thanks to its fastback SUV body line. The silhouette of the car is both dynamic and aerodynamic (Cx 0.28). The dynamic lines of the new 3008 are based on the balanced dimensions of the car. These proportions make it one of the most compact 100% electric SUVs in the C-segment. At the same time, the car provides plenty of space for passengers and luggage. The front of the car is designed around the new Peugeot badge. It incorporates a new light signature and, thanks to the progressively shaded body colour, the bonnet is not clearly defined. Above the bonnet is a slim, elegant band encircling the entire front end, incorporating the ultra-compact headlights.

The headlights are equipped with LEDs on all versions. The 3008 GT version is fitted as standard with Peugeot’s new Pixel LED technology, which automatically adapts the headlight beam to road conditions and maintains optimum illumination without dazzling other road users. The new 3008 is available in six colours.

Thanks to innovative dichroic pigments, Blue Obsession changes from blue to green depending on the light and body shape. The all-new Blue Ingaro shade with its subtle reflections highlights the car’s modern lines. Other shades on offer are White Okenite, Black Pearl, Grey Artense and Grey Titane. The new 3008 in GT trim level comes standard in two-tone with a gloss black roof.

Attractive interior with award-winning ergonomic seats

In addition to the spectacular 21″ floating panoramic screen of the new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit system, ambient LED lighting, which can be customised in eight different colours, enhances the attractiveness and technological character of the cabin. This illumination is reflected in the elegant aluminium trim that extends the full width of the dashboard and door panels. The combination of aluminium, light and fabric trim creates a unique and effective combination of quality materials.
The front seats have been awarded the prestigious AGR certificate by the German Association of Physicians and Physiotherapists, which promotes research into the prevention of back pain. In the GT version, the seats are also ventilated and have a massage function. Heating is also extended to the rear row of seats.

Solid performance and record range

The Peugeot 3008 is the first model to use the all-new STLA Medium platform from the Stellantis Group. This is designed for the Group’s future electric vehicles and sets new benchmarks in the market. The STLA Medium platform on the E-3008 delivers record energy-to-wheel distance with a 98 kWh capacity, while keeping the wheelbase short (2.73 m). Thanks to this high-performance concept, the E-3008 offers best-in-class range (up to 700 km) while remaining compact.

The new generation of permanent magnet synchronous motors offers higher performance and improved efficiency. The front-wheel drive versions have a power output of 157 kW (343 Nm) or 170 kW (343 Nm). The four-wheel drive version delivers a total output of 240 kW (157 kW at the front and 83 kW at the rear). The front engine delivers 343 Nm of torque and the rear engine 166 Nm.The gear ratio for the 2WD version (525 km) is 9.77. The fully electric versions are equipped with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with 400 V + NMC chemistry (nickel, manganese and cobalt). The battery is located under the floor. Other electrical appliances (lights, infotainment, etc.) are powered by a 12V battery, which is itself powered by the high-voltage battery via an inverter.
