Volvo S90

The S90 is the biggest and most powerful Volvo ever made. Its design has combined a desire for elegant design with intuitive progressive innovations to create a car that stands out for its confidence and comfort.

Design

The interior of the new Volvo S90 features sleek lines and the Thor’s Hammer halogen headlights. The interior has been designed with the driver in mind – the dashboard and centre console are angled towards him. The dashboard concept is based on that of the XC90, including the digital instrument cluster and vertically oriented infotainment tablet. Inside the car, you’ll find the Sensus system controlled by a touchscreen display or buttons directly on the steering wheel. This way, you can take full advantage of all functions, including navigation, connectivity and radio.

The interior combines natural materials with modern technology. The decorative trim is Nordic wood and the lines mimic simple Scandinavian style with a sense of open space and simple shapes.

Security

With City Safety, the Volvo S90 can easily detect pedestrians, cyclists and large animals. If a collision is imminent, it will warn you first, then brake automatically if you don’t react. The Traffic Jam Support System can automatically maintain speed and distance from the car in front of you, so you can enjoy a more comfortable ride. Volvo has also created the world’s first unintentional run-off-the-road protection system, which prevents the driver from crossing horizontal road markings if he or she hasn’t previously turned on the turn signal.

Of course, there is also lane-keeping assist or a system for reading traffic signs.
